The prediction market for 'Senegal 2 - 0 Iraq' in the June 26, 2026 FIFA World Cup match reflects an extremely low probability (0.05%), indicating strong skepticism about this exact scoreline occurring. The market is highly specific and excludes other outcomes, including variations like 2-1 or 1-0.
Senegal could achieve a 2-0 scoreline if they dominate possession, create multiple high-quality chances, and convert two of them into goals while maintaining a strong defensive structure to prevent Iraq from scoring. Historical form for both teams suggests Senegal's attacking prowess (e.g., Sadio Mané's presence) and Iraq's defensive vulnerabilities could align for this outcome.
A 2-0 scoreline is unlikely due to the inherent unpredictability of football, where even dominant teams often concede goals or fail to convert chances. Iraq's potential resilience, Senegal's potential complacency, or referee decisions could disrupt this exact result, leading to a draw or a different scoreline.
