This market refers to the Counter-Strike Grand final match between shimmer and MIBR fe in the Rainhas do Clutch FERJEE Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 26 at 1:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "MIBR fe" if MIBR fe wins 2 or more maps than shimmer in this match. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "shimmer". Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted towards the handicap, provided that the match is completed. If the match is canceled (not played at all for any reason), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited this will count as a completed match. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
MIBR fe holds a 37% probability to win the Counter-Strike Grand Final against shimmer by a handicap of 2+ maps, indicating a slight underdog status. The market suggests a competitive matchup with no clear favorite, as shimmer's implied win probability stands at 63%.
MIBR fe could outperform expectations by leveraging superior team chemistry, strategic adaptability, or individual skill in high-pressure scenarios. A strong start in the first two maps could neutralize shimmer's handicap advantage, allowing MIBR fe to secure a series victory. Historical data shows MIBR fe's resilience in close matches, supporting this upside.
shimmer's higher probability reflects a strong chance to dominate the series, potentially due to superior map pool execution or recent form. MIBR fe's underdog status may be compounded by external factors like player fatigue or tactical missteps, leading to a decisive loss. The handicap (+1.5) amplifies the risk of shimmer exceeding expectations.
