This market will resolve to the team that records the most clean sheets through all main tournament rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the team that conceded the fewest total goals. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
Argentina, as the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup runner-up and 2022 FIFA World Cup champion, is a strong contender for the most clean sheets at the 2026 FIFA World Cup due to their defensive solidity and tactical discipline. However, competition from historically strong defensive teams like Italy, Germany, and Brazil, as well as potential upsets, introduces significant uncertainty.
Argentina's recent success in major tournaments, including their 2022 World Cup victory, suggests a high likelihood of maintaining defensive solidity. Their tactical flexibility under current management (Lionel Scaloni) and deep squad depth in defensive positions further support this case.
Argentina faces stiff competition from historically strong defensive teams like Italy, Germany, and Brazil, all of whom boast world-class goalkeepers and defensive structures. Additionally, potential injuries to key defenders or tactical missteps could undermine their clean sheet record.
