The market indicates a 36% probability that Shanghai's highest temperature on June 29, 2026, will reach 28°C. Historical June 29 data from Shanghai Pudong International Airport suggests this is a plausible but not guaranteed outcome given seasonal norms.
A 28°C peak aligns with Shanghai's typical late June temperatures, where daily highs often range between 26-30°C. Unseasonably warm weather or urban heat island effects could push temperatures to this level.
Shanghai's historical June 29 highs rarely exceed 28°C, with most years recording peaks below 27°C. Cooler-than-average conditions or unexpected weather patterns could suppress temperatures.
