The market indicates a near-even probability (48.5%) that Shanghai's highest temperature on June 28, 2026, will reach 28°C. Historical climate data and seasonal trends suggest moderate uncertainty due to variability in late June weather patterns.
Shanghai's late June climate typically ranges between 24-30°C, with occasional heatwaves pushing highs toward 32°C. If a subtropical high-pressure system stabilizes over the region, sustained warming could push the daily high to 28°C or above.
June is part of Shanghai's rainy season, with frequent cloud cover and precipitation suppressing high temperatures. If monsoon activity remains strong or a cold front disrupts warming, the daily high could fall below 28°C, closer to the 25-27°C range.
