The market indicates a low probability (1.40%) that Shanghai's highest temperature on June 27, 2026, will reach 25°C, reflecting historically low temperatures for late June in the region.
Unseasonably warm weather patterns, such as a strong high-pressure system or heat dome, could push temperatures to 25°C. Climate change may also contribute to warmer-than-average conditions.
Historical climatological data suggests late June temperatures in Shanghai typically range between 20-24°C, making 25°C an outlier. Persistent cloud cover or cooler air masses could suppress temperatures.
