The prediction market indicates a low probability (0.55%) that Manila's highest temperature on June 29, 2026, will reach 37°C. Historical climate data and seasonal trends suggest this outcome is unlikely, though extreme weather events could marginally alter probabilities.
A strong high-pressure system or El Niño-induced heatwave could push temperatures to 37°C, especially if combined with urban heat island effects in Manila. Prolonged drought conditions or delayed monsoon onset may also exacerbate heat levels.
Standard June climatology for Manila typically ranges between 27-34°C, with 37°C being an extreme outlier. The absence of forecasted heatwaves or unusual weather patterns makes this outcome improbable. Historical data since 2000 shows no recorded 37°C reading in late June.
