Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The market reflects a low probability (0.35%) that Madrid's highest temperature on June 30, 2026, will reach 34°C, indicating skepticism about extreme heat on that specific date. Historical climate data suggests such temperatures are rare but not unprecedented for late June in the region.
Madrid could experience a heatwave by June 30, 2026, driven by persistent high-pressure systems, early-season Saharan air intrusions, or delayed monsoon patterns. Climate trends show increasing frequency of extreme temperatures in southern Europe, raising the likelihood of a 34°C day.
Temperatures in Madrid typically peak in July, with late June averages around 30-32°C. A lack of prolonged high-pressure systems or late-season cold fronts could suppress temperatures below 34°C, aligning with historical norms.
