The market predicts a 0.65% probability that Los Angeles International Airport's highest temperature on June 28, 2026, will fall within the 76-77°F range. Historical data and seasonal trends suggest this outcome is highly unlikely.
A bullish scenario could unfold if an unexpected heatwave or atmospheric anomaly pushes temperatures into the 76-77°F range. Unusually high humidity or urban heat island effects might also contribute to warmer-than-average conditions.
The bear case relies on standard June climatology for Los Angeles, where average highs are ~74°F with low variability. Persistent marine layer influence or cooler-than-average synoptic patterns would suppress temperatures below the target range.
