The prediction market indicates a low probability (5.65%) that Karachi's highest temperature on June 27, 2026, will reach 33°C, based on historical temperature trends and seasonal patterns. The resolution depends on real-time data from Wunderground for Masroor Airbase Station.
A bullish scenario could unfold if Karachi experiences an unusual heatwave due to climate anomalies, such as a delayed monsoon or high-pressure systems, pushing temperatures to or above 33°C. Early seasonal heatwaves or urban heat island effects could also contribute to higher-than-expected readings.
A bearish outcome is more likely given Karachi's historical June temperatures, which rarely exceed 33°C at Masroor Airbase. Cool oceanic influences, monsoon onset, or cloud cover could suppress peak temperatures below the threshold, aligning with typical seasonal norms.
