The prediction market for Guangzhou's highest temperature on June 29, 2026, is highly speculative with a low probability (0.55%) and no historical or seasonal data supporting a 36°C outcome. Resolution depends on real-time meteorological data from Wunderground.
A bullish outcome (36°C) would require an extreme heatwave, possibly driven by unusual weather patterns like a strong subtropical ridge or delayed monsoon, aligning with recent regional warming trends in South China.
A bearish outcome (not 36°C) is more likely given Guangzhou's historical June averages (28-33°C) and the low probability assigned by the market. Factors like cloud cover, rainfall, or monsoon dynamics could suppress peak temperatures.
