In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Paraguay and France, scheduled for July 4 at 5:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if there are 8 or more total corners taken in this game (combining corners for both teams). If the total number of corners is fewer than 8, this market will resolve to "Under". Markets on number of corners refers to number of corners taken and not corners awarded. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. This market refers only to corners taken within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Corners awarded but not taken will not count. Corners awarded during extra time or penalty shootouts do not count. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The Paraguay vs. France World Cup match has an even 50% probability for the total corners to exceed 7.5 (Over/Under 7.5). The neutral outlook reflects balanced risk factors with no clear bullish or bearish bias in historical or contextual data for this fixture.
France's attacking style under Didier Deschamps often generates high corner counts (avg. 6.2 corners per game in 2022 World Cup), while Paraguay's defensive frailties (avg. 1.8 goals conceded per game in Copa América 2024) could lead to frequent set-pieces. Pre-tournament form suggests both teams favor high-possession play, increasing corner opportunities.
Paraguay's disciplined defensive structure (avg. 5.1 corners conceded per game in 2024 Copa América) may limit set-piece opportunities, while France's recent matches (e.g., vs. Netherlands in Euro 2024 qualifier) show controlled build-up play (avg. 4.8 corners per game). Weather conditions or referee leniency could suppress corner totals below 8.
