In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between New Zealand and Belgium, scheduled for June 26 at 11:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if Belgium takes 7 or more corners within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If Belgium takes fewer than 7 corners within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve to "Under". This market is based solely on corners taken by Belgium, not the combined number of corners taken by both teams. Markets on number of corners refer to corners taken, not corners awarded. Corners awarded but not taken will not count. Corners awarded during extra time or penalty shootouts do not count. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The market predicts a 53.5% chance that Belgium will take 7 or more corners in their FIFA World Cup match against New Zealand on June 26. This slight bullish bias suggests a moderate expectation of higher corner counts in the game.
Belgium's attacking style and possession-based gameplay typically generate high corner counts, especially against lower-ranked opponents like New Zealand. Their recent World Cup matches show a tendency for 7+ corners, supporting the over scenario.
New Zealand's defensive resilience and counter-attacking approach may limit Belgium's ability to create corners, leading to fewer than 7 corners. Belgium's recent form or tactical adjustments could also reduce corner frequency.
