The prediction market for 'Egypt vs. IR Iran: O/U 7.5 Total Corners' currently sits at 52.50%, indicating a marginal lean toward the 'Over' outcome. This suggests a near-even probability of the total corners meeting or exceeding 8 in the match.
The 'Over' outcome (8+ corners) is supported by historical data showing that international matches between lower-ranked teams often feature high corner counts due to aggressive attacking play and defensive errors. Egypt and IR Iran have previously recorded matches with 8+ corners, suggesting a potential for this scenario.
The 'Under' outcome (fewer than 8 corners) could materialize if the match is tactically conservative, with both teams prioritizing defensive solidity over attacking flair. Low-scoring or defensive-minded games in the World Cup often result in fewer corners.
