This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between Team Aunkere and Team shoke in the BetBoom Streamers Battle Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 2 at 12:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Over" if Team Aunkere and Team shoke play 3 or more maps in this series. If fewer than 3 maps are played, this market will resolve to "Under". Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted towards the total, provided that the match is completed. If the match is canceled (not played at all for any reason), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited this will count as a completed match. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The market for 'Games Total: O/U 2.5' in the CS:GO Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between Team Aunkere and Team shoke is balanced, with a 50% probability reflecting equal likelihood of either outcome. The neutral resolution rules for canceled, tied, or incomplete matches introduce significant ambiguity.
A bullish outcome (Over 2.5 games) is plausible if the match is competitive, with both teams likely to push for a 3rd map. Forfeits or walkovers could also push the total to 3+ maps, as these counts toward the total. High viewer engagement may incentivize extended play.
A bearish outcome (Under 2.5 games) is possible if one team dominates early, leading to a 2-0 or 2-1 series conclusion. Forfeits or disqualifications before the match starts could also result in fewer than 3 maps played. Match cancellations or delays beyond 7 days would trigger a 50-50 resolution.
