The prediction market for Kevin De Bruyne recording 2+ assists in the New Zealand vs. Belgium World Cup match on June 26 has a low probability of 6%, indicating skepticism about his involvement or assist potential in this fixture.
De Bruyne could exceed 1.5 assists due to Belgium's attacking prowess, his high pass completion rate, and New Zealand's likely defensive focus, creating opportunities for key passes or crosses. If Belgium dominates possession, De Bruyne may have multiple chances to assist goals from wide areas or set-pieces.
De Bruyne may not play due to injury, fatigue, or tactical decisions, or he could be limited by New Zealand's compact defense, reducing his assist opportunities. Belgium's attacking structure might not favor his role, especially if they rely on other players like Lukaku or Doku.
