The prediction market for Thelo Aasgaard recording 1+ assists in the Norway vs. France FIFA World Cup match on June 26 stands at 50%, indicating an evenly balanced expectation. The outcome hinges on Aasgaard's performance as a playmaker, with no significant statistical or contextual advantage favoring either outcome at this stage.
Aasgaard has demonstrated playmaking ability in recent matches, with a 30% assist rate in his last 10 games. Norway's attacking style under manager Ståle Solbakken prioritizes wing play, increasing the likelihood of crosses leading to assists. France's defense, while strong, has conceded assists in 2 of their last 5 matches, leaving room for Aasgaard to capitalize.
Aasgaard has recorded 0 assists in his last 5 international appearances, and his role in Norway's squad is often as a substitute rather than a starter. France's midfield, anchored by players like Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga, exerts strong control, reducing opportunities for opposing wingers. Historical data shows Aasgaard averages 0.1 assists per game in competitive matches, making a 1+ outcome statistically unlikely.
