If the player is listed as inactive or otherwise does not take the field at any point, the market will resolve to "Under". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. To know when a postponed game will be played, please check the home team's schedule on MLB.com for the listed team and look for the game described as a makeup game. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
Aaron Nola's strikeout over/under market for June 29 shows a 28.5% probability of recording more than 5.5 strikeouts, indicating a bearish market sentiment. The low probability suggests skepticism about his ability to exceed the threshold in the upcoming game.
Nola has a strong track record against the Pirates, averaging 8+ strikeouts in recent starts. His fastball velocity and secondary pitches are effective, and the Phillies' lineup may provide favorable matchups. Historical data supports a higher strikeout probability in this matchup.
Nola has struggled with command and consistency in his last 3 starts, averaging under 6 strikeouts. The Pirates have a disciplined lineup with a high contact rate, reducing strikeout opportunities. Fatigue or injury concerns could further limit his performance.
