The market for Payton Tolle's strikeouts O/U 5.5 in the Yankees vs. Red Sox game is evenly split, reflecting high uncertainty due to Tolle's inconsistent recent performance and the volatile nature of pitcher matchups.
Tolle has shown potential for strikeout-heavy outings in previous starts, particularly against high-powered lineups like Boston's. If he enters the game with confidence and faces a Red Sox lineup prone to swinging at outside pitches, he could exceed 5.5 strikeouts.
Tolle's recent form has been erratic, with several starts yielding fewer than 5 strikeouts. Boston's disciplined lineup may limit his strikeout opportunities, especially if they avoid aggressive swings or if Tolle struggles with command early.
