If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. To know when a postponed game will be played, please check the home team's schedule on MLB.com for the listed team and look for the game described as a makeup game. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The prediction market for the Minnesota Twins vs. Houston Astros 1st 5 Innings Over/Under 5.5 runs is evenly split, with a 50% probability for both outcomes. The neutral starting position reflects balanced expectations given the teams' offensive profiles and recent performances.
The Twins' strong offensive lineup, featuring power hitters like Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton, combined with the Astros' consistent run production, increases the likelihood of exceeding 5.5 runs in the first five innings. Additionally, both teams have shown high-scoring tendencies in recent matchups, supporting an Over resolution.
The Astros' starting rotation, particularly Justin Verlander and Framber Valdez, has a history of suppressing runs early in games, while the Twins' pitching staff, despite offensive strength, may struggle against elite starters. Weather conditions or early defensive miscues could also suppress scoring, favoring an Under outcome.
