The market for the 1st 5 innings spread between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals is evenly balanced at 50%, reflecting uncertainty about the game's outcome. The White Sox must lead by 2 or more runs after 5 innings to resolve this market positively.
The White Sox could win decisively in the early innings due to strong starting pitching or offensive firepower, leading to a 2+ run margin by the 5th inning. Home field advantage or favorable weather conditions may also favor the White Sox.
The Royals could leverage a strong bullpen or late-inning rallies to keep the game close, preventing the White Sox from building a 2-run lead by the 5th inning. Poor performance from White Sox starters or injuries could also shift momentum.
