The prediction market for the Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox game over/under 11.5 runs is currently at 50% probability, indicating a balanced outlook with no clear lean toward over or under. The neutral probability suggests equal expectations for both teams' offensive performance.
The bull case for the over market (12+ runs) hinges on both teams' offensive firepower. The White Sox have a strong lineup with power hitters like José Abreu, while the Royals' offense, though inconsistent, has shown recent improvement. High-scoring games typically occur when both teams have multiple home runs or a series of extra-base hits.
The bear case for the under market (11 or fewer runs) assumes low-scoring conditions, such as poor offensive performance from both teams, strong pitching matchups, or adverse weather conditions. The Royals' pitching staff has been solid recently, and the White Sox's bullpen could limit late-game scoring, reducing the total runs.
