The market assigns a 23.50% probability that New York City's highest temperature on June 27, 2026, will fall within the 80-81°F range. Historical and climatological data suggest this is a relatively low-probability outcome for late June in NYC.
Warmer-than-average conditions could push temperatures into the 80-81°F range due to persistent high-pressure systems, early-season heatwaves, or urban heat island effects. A strong Bermuda High or southerly flow could sustain elevated temperatures.
Cooler-than-average conditions, influenced by cloud cover, precipitation, or a delayed onset of summer heat, could keep the high temperature below 80°F. Atlantic maritime air or northerly winds may suppress temperatures.
