The prediction market suggests an extremely low probability (0.55%) that Munich will reach 36°C or higher on June 29, 2026, reflecting historical temperature patterns and seasonal norms for the region.
A rare heatwave could push temperatures to 36°C+ due to an unprecedented blocking high-pressure system over Central Europe, combined with prolonged drought conditions reducing soil moisture and amplifying daytime heating.
Standard late-June temperatures in Munich typically peak around 22-26°C, with extreme heat events being historically rare, making 36°C+ highly unlikely without extraordinary meteorological conditions.
