The prediction market suggests a low probability (11%) that Munich's highest temperature on June 29, 2026, will reach 27°C, indicating cooler-than-average expectations for late June. Historical climate data for Munich in late June typically ranges between 18-25°C, with 27°C being an outlier.
A bullish scenario could emerge if a strong high-pressure system or heatwave affects central Europe in late June 2026, pushing temperatures significantly above seasonal norms. Unusually warm air masses from southern Europe or Saharan regions could drive the mercury to 27°C or higher.
A bearish outcome is more likely given Munich's historical climate patterns, where late June temperatures rarely exceed 25°C. Persistent cloud cover, Atlantic low-pressure systems, or unseasonal rainfall could suppress temperatures below 27°C.
