The market assigns a 33% probability that Milan's highest temperature on June 28, 2026, will reach exactly 36°C. Historical data and seasonal trends suggest this is plausible but not guaranteed, with uncertainty driven by variable weather patterns.
A strong high-pressure system over Southern Europe could bring prolonged heatwave conditions, pushing temperatures in Milan to 36°C or higher. Early seasonal warming trends and urban heat island effects may also contribute to elevated readings.
Cooler-than-average Atlantic air masses or persistent cloud cover could suppress temperatures below 36°C. Unseasonable rainfall or wind patterns from the north may further reduce peak temperatures, aligning with cooler historical averages.
