Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The market predicts a low probability (1.40%) that Mexico City's highest temperature on July 2, 2026, will reach 26°C, based on historical temperature trends and seasonal patterns. The resolution depends on precise meteorological data from Wunderground for the Benito Juárez International Airport Station.
A bullish outcome could occur if an unusual heatwave affects central Mexico in early July 2026, driven by prolonged high-pressure systems or delayed monsoon onset. Unseasonably warm global temperatures or localized urban heat island effects in Mexico City could also push the high to 26°C.
A bearish outcome is more likely given Mexico City's historical July temperatures, which typically average around 22-24°C. Cooler-than-average conditions, early monsoon rains, or atypical cloud cover could suppress the high below 26°C, aligning with long-term climate norms.
