Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The probability of London's highest temperature reaching 27°C on June 27, 2026, is extremely low at 0.40%, based on historical climate data for the region. This is highly unlikely given London's typical June temperatures and historical patterns.
A bullish scenario could involve an unexpected heatwave, with high-pressure systems pushing warm air from continental Europe, leading to unseasonably high temperatures. Localized urban heat island effects in London could also contribute to a brief spike.
The bear case is strong, as London's average high temperature in late June is typically around 21-23°C, with extreme heat events being rare. Climate records show temperatures above 27°C are infrequent, and no such event has occurred in recent years.
