The prediction market indicates a low probability (1.25%) that Istanbul's highest temperature on June 28, 2026, will reach 29°C. Historical NOAA data and seasonal trends suggest this outcome is unlikely.
A bullish scenario could unfold if an unexpected heatwave or high-pressure system leads to unseasonably warm temperatures in late June. Urban heat island effects in Istanbul may also contribute to higher readings.
The bear case assumes typical late-June weather patterns, with average highs around 25-27°C. Cool sea breezes or cloud cover could suppress temperatures below the 29°C threshold.
