The market predicts an extremely low probability (0.05%) that Chicago's highest temperature on June 27, 2026, will fall within the 70-71°F range. Historical data and seasonal trends suggest this outcome is highly unlikely given typical June weather patterns in the region.
Unusual atmospheric conditions, such as a late-season cold front or persistent cloud cover, could suppress daytime heating enough to keep the high temperature within the 70-71°F range. Alternatively, localized microclimate effects near O'Hare Airport could contribute to this outcome.
Standard late-June weather in Chicago typically features highs in the mid-70s to low-80s°F, making the 70-71°F range implausible without significant anomalies. Climate trends indicate warming summers, further reducing the likelihood of such a low maximum temperature.
