The market for Amadou Onana scoring 1+ goals in the Belgium vs. New Zealand World Cup match on June 26 has a low probability (5.50%), reflecting his limited goal-scoring record and Belgium's defensive structure. The outcome hinges on his role in attack and New Zealand's defensive resilience.
Onana could score due to Belgium's high possession and attacking transitions, leveraging his midfield-to-attack runs. If New Zealand's defense is exposed early, his physicality and late runs into the box could create opportunities. Belgium's recent form includes attacking dominance, increasing his chances.
Onana is primarily a defensive midfielder (6 goals in 50+ club appearances), making goals unlikely. Belgium's balanced squad may prioritize defense, reducing his attacking involvement. New Zealand's compact defensive setup could neutralize his impact, minimizing goal-scoring chances.
