This market assesses whether Memphis Depay will record at least one shot on target in the upcoming FIFA World Cup match between Netherlands and Morocco. The current market probability stands at 50%, indicating an even chance for the "Yes" outcome. The resolution hinges on official match statistics for shots on target within regular play.
Depay, as a key forward for the Netherlands, is expected to be central to their attacking efforts, increasing his likelihood of taking shots. If the Netherlands dominates possession and creates numerous scoring opportunities, Depay will likely be positioned to convert chances into shots on target. A weaker or less organized Moroccan defense could also provide more openings for him.
The "No" outcome is probable if Depay does not start or plays limited minutes due to injury or tactical decisions. A strong defensive performance from Morocco, effectively neutralizing Depay and limiting Dutch attacking play, would also reduce his chances. Furthermore, if the Netherlands adopts a more conservative strategy or struggles to create clear-cut chances, Depay's shot opportunities would diminish.
