In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Mexico and Ecuador, scheduled for June 30 at 9:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if Mexico score 1 or more goals in the second half (second 45 minutes of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If Mexico score less than 1 goals in the second half, this market will resolve to "Under". This market is based solely on Mexico's second-half score, not the combined score of both teams. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. This market refers only to the outcome within the second 45 minutes of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The prediction market for Mexico scoring 0.5+ goals in the second half of their FIFA World Cup match against Ecuador is evenly balanced at 50%, reflecting high uncertainty due to match dynamics and team form. The outcome hinges solely on Mexico's second-half offensive output, excluding first-half performance or extra time.
Mexico's attacking prowess, particularly in the second half, could overwhelm Ecuador's defense, especially if Ecuador's midfield struggles to contain Mexico's wingers or if Mexico capitalizes on set-pieces. Historical data shows Mexico often scores in the second half of World Cup matches, increasing the likelihood of an 'Over' resolution.
Ecuador's defensive structure may neutralize Mexico's attack, particularly if Ecuador maintains compactness and avoids early goals that could force them to chase the game. Mexico's inconsistency in tight matches and potential fatigue in the second half could suppress their scoring, favoring an 'Under' outcome.
