The prediction market for 'Colombia vs. Portugal: Neither team to score first?' reflects a low probability (6.50%) that neither team scores in the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time. This suggests a high likelihood of at least one goal being scored in the match.
Colombia's strong attacking lineup, including James Rodriguez and Luis Diaz, increases the probability of early scoring. Portugal's defensive vulnerabilities, particularly against fast transitions, could lead to a goal within the first 90 minutes.
Both teams have historically high-scoring records, but tactical disciplined defenses (e.g., Portugal's recent structured play) or early set-piece goals may reduce the chance of no goal in the first 90 minutes. Weather conditions or referee decisions could also suppress scoring.
