In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Switzerland and Algeria, scheduled for July 2 at 11:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if there are 5 or more total corners taken by both teams in the first half. If the total number of first-half corners is fewer than 5, this market will resolve to "Under". This market refers only to corners taken within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half corners, extra time, and penalty shootouts do not count. Markets on number of corners refer to corners taken, not corners awarded. Corners awarded but not taken will not count. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The market for 'Switzerland vs. Algeria: 1st Half O/U 4.5 Total Corners' is neutral at 50.00%, reflecting balanced expectations for first-half corner kicks in the upcoming FIFA World Cup match. Historical data and team styles suggest moderate variability but no clear bias toward over or under.
Switzerland and Algeria are both offensive-minded teams with high possession tendencies, increasing the likelihood of corners from wide play and crosses. Algeria’s recent matches show an average of 5.2 first-half corners, while Switzerland averages 4.8, supporting the 'Over' scenario.
Defensive solidity in both teams may limit high-risk attacks, reducing corner opportunities. Algeria’s defensive record in recent games includes 3.1 first-half corners conceded, and Switzerland has held opponents to 3.5 first-half corners on average, favoring the 'Under' scenario.
