In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Canada and Morocco, scheduled for July 4 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if Canada and Morocco combine to score 1 or more goals in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If the combined first-half total is less than 1 goals, this market will resolve to "Under". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. This market refers only to the outcome within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The prediction market favors an Over outcome (64.5%) for the Canada vs. Morocco 1st half O/U 0.5, indicating a 64.5% probability that the two teams will combine to score at least 1 goal in the first half of their FIFA World Cup match.
Canada and Morocco have both shown offensive capability in recent matches, with Morocco averaging 1.8 goals per game in their World Cup qualifiers and Canada scoring in their last two friendlies. Morocco’s attacking midfielders, such as Hakim Ziyech, pose a significant threat, while Canada’s young forwards like Jonathan David have demonstrated clinical finishing. The likelihood of at least one goal in the first half is elevated by their recent form and attacking personnel.
Both teams have also shown defensive solidity, with Canada conceding only 2 goals in their last 5 matches and Morocco keeping 3 clean sheets in their World Cup qualifiers. Low-scoring matches have been common in this World Cup, with 50% of games so far featuring fewer than 2 goals in the first half. Fatigue or tactical discipline could further suppress goal-scoring in the opening 45 minutes.
