In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Brazil and Japan, scheduled for June 29 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Yes" if Keisuke Ōsako records more than 2.5 saves within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "No" if Keisuke Ōsako records 2.5 saves or fewer within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Saves are counted only if credited to Keisuke Ōsako in the official match statistics. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. If Keisuke Ōsako is listed as inactive or otherwise does not play, the market will resolve "No". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The prediction market for Keisuke Ōsako recording 3+ saves in the Brazil vs. Japan FIFA World Cup match has a 46.5% probability, indicating a near-even split on the outcome. The resolution hinges on Ōsako's performance in goal, with no clear favorite between the two scenarios.
Ōsako, Japan's starting goalkeeper, has a strong track record in high-pressure matches, including recent World Cup performances where he demonstrated agility and shot-stopping ability. Brazil's attacking lineup, while formidable, may struggle to convert chances against a well-organized Japanese defense, increasing the likelihood of multiple saves.
Brazil's offensive firepower, featuring players like Vinícius Júnior and Neymar, poses a significant threat to Ōsako's goal, with high expected goals (xG) per match. Japan's defensive vulnerabilities, particularly in transitions, could lead to fewer saves for Ōsako as Brazil capitalizes on counterattacks. Historical data shows Brazil averages 2+ goals per match in recent World Cup games, reducing the probability of 3+ saves.
