In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Belgium and Senegal, scheduled for July 1 at 4:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if Senegal score 2 or more goals in the second half (second 45 minutes of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If Senegal score less than 2 goals in the second half, this market will resolve to "Under". This market is based solely on Senegal's second-half score, not the combined score of both teams. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. This market refers only to the outcome within the second 45 minutes of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Crowd-implied vs ORYN AI fair value over time, with decision markers
The prediction market for Senegal's second-half goals in the Belgium vs. Senegal FIFA World Cup match shows a balanced 50% probability for both outcomes (Over/Under 1.5 goals). The neutral market reflects uncertainty due to Senegal's variable offensive performance and Belgium's defensive strength.
Senegal's attacking prowess, led by players like Sadio Mané and Ismaïla Sarr, could outperform expectations in the second half, especially if Belgium's defense struggles with pace or fatigue. Historical data shows Senegal scoring freely in second halves against weaker opponents, increasing the likelihood of 2+ goals.
Belgium's defensive organization and individual quality, including defenders like Toby Alderweireld and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, may suppress Senegal's scoring opportunities in the second half. Senegal's recent form in tight matches suggests they may struggle to break down elite defenses.
