This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 WNBA regular season with the highest blocks per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest blocks per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).

Kiah Stokes has a 6.5% chance to lead the WNBA in blocks per game for the 2026 regular season, reflecting moderate competition from established shot-blockers and her injury history. Historical performance and team defensive schemes support her candidacy, but consistency and minutes will be critical factors.
Stokes' elite shot-blocking ability, career averages (1.8 blocks/game in 2023), and potential for increased playing time with a defensive-minded coaching staff could propel her to the top. If she secures a starting role with a team emphasizing rim protection, her per-game blocks could surge above competitors like Brittney Griner or Teaira McCowan.
Stokes' recent injury history (multiple Achilles ruptures) and declining minutes (averaging 12.3 MPG in 2023) raise concerns about her durability and opportunity. Younger, taller players (e.g., Aliyah Boston) or those with more consistent minutes (e.g., Kalani Brown) may outpace her statistically.
