The prediction market for the Wimbledon ATP match between Lorenzo Sonego and Tomas Etcheverry is evenly split at 50%, indicating no clear favorite to win the first set. The outcome is highly dependent on pre-match conditions and player form.
Sonego could be favored due to his experience on grass courts and recent clay-court performances translating well to grass. His consistency in ATP 250/500 events may give him an edge in a tightly contested first set.
Etcheverry's aggressive baseline game and strong clay-court season (including a 2025 title) could translate better to Wimbledon's faster grass, increasing his chances of winning the first set. His head-to-head record (if any) would further support this case.
